This picture was the last one ever taken by my Nikon D7200, It went swimming shortly after this. This is also from my trip in June of 2022, so the picture is not out there yet! Picture from a campsite looking mostly SSE!

I'm going Middle Cone

And poor nikon! I have a D7000 that's been along on every adventure these past 8 years. It's amazing it's doing as well as it is.

I replaced my camera as soon as I got out - only had 3 weeks after the trip before I was heading to Glacier National Park - Look at used D7200's and went with the D7500 instead. There are some differences, but it worked GREAT! The first paddle on the Flathead river up to the lake, I was afraid to take the new one in the Canoe. But the next paddle on Lake McDonald it was out in full force! My cousin even said I shouldn't bring it, but when he looked back at all the pictures, he said I better bring, just follow the dry bag rule - KEEP IT IN THE BAG unless in use! - So TMI - I need to learn how to use it to it's full capability, but I am also happy with what I get and don't want it to become a job.

So far no correct answers - but Stuart is one of my favorite lakes - and Kekekabic and Thomas and Fraser - but not the correct answers!
I know I'm getting old because all the guesses are lakes I've been on!

I lovethe guess Muskrat, but no - One guess so far is fairly close - here is a picture with a little better focus and better lighting, backup camera - point and shoot! The lake has 4 portages - and the next clue will give it away! - this one may help!
