This pic is looking east into the morning sun on a late-Sept trip.

YetiJedi: "North"

Yeti gets it with North!

I didn't have a good second pic from that lake, but if a clue was needed I was going to share this pic of a floating tree on Slim Lake and come up with some sort of clue based on its proximity to North. I love this pic so I'm sharing it anyway.

You're up, Yeti!

Nice pics, Sunrise Paddler! Sure love that area up there. :)

Here's a sunrise pic from the portage from Section Three Pond. The stone steps were very helpful with the thick and deep mud.

Yeti, nice pic. It brings back fond memories. We had a strong NW wind hitting us at that campsite with a rain/snow mix, so I set my hammock up just to the left of those downed trees in your pic, essentially on the backside of the campsite there, to protect from the wind. Awoke the next morning to a layer of frost/ice on my rainfly after a chilly night. It was awesome.

And I recall that portage was a muddy mess for us, too, and really appreciating those stone steps.

Deez, yes, you were so close! Go get the next one.
