As I turn 73, I am forced to admit that I can no longer pretend I am 60. So I'm letting go of heavier things, including this beautiful 19' Wenonah Itasca Ultralight Kevlar Canoe.

In beautiful condition, one BWCA trip, manufactured in 2022. $2500.
Stored inside in Duluth, Minnesota. I will hold it for the buyer until pick up.

I can be reached by text @ 505.577.2483. Please, NO VOICE CALLS as I generally block any future calls from numbers I do not recognize. Thank you.

I will soon add photos to this posting.

Though the Itasca is a great choice for experienced paddlers, I bought this canoe with my paddling novice wife in mind. The exceptional Stability and Seaworthiness of the Itasca was very reassuring for her as we set out in the BWCA.

The Itasca is the Ultimate Expedition Canoe, whose Capacity and
Stability is also ideal for the lake cabin with the grandkids. It has the Highest WENONAH Ratings for STABILITY, SEAWORTHINESS & CAPACITY. Ideal for both beginners and experts, the Itasca Paddles Fast due to tumblehome at narrow stern and bow paddlers stations, and has famed Gene Jensen Glide! The Rocker allows for easy turning despite the length of the Itasca. Like other long Wenonah Canoes, the Itasca has a sliding Wenonah bow ‘Tractor Seat’ so adjusting Trim is EASY!

I also have a welded aluminum frame to set up a rear sliding seat. I will include this along with two Wenonah seat pads. Sliding seats are useful for trimming any load, and for dealing with windy conditions; trim tail down in tailwinds, bow down in headwinds.

MN Registration expires end of December 2023.
