Asking $1300 for our 1995 Wenonah Adirondack in Tuf-weave. Email or post here with questions. Email (click the envelope under username) with inquiries and offers.
- Wenonah Tuf-weave is a fiberglass/polyester blend (stiff like fiberglass but lighter)
- Black anodized aluminum trim and gunwales
- Ash/webbed seats and yolk
- Always stored in garage hanging by gunwales
- Washed and maintained beginning and end of every season
Currently, it does not have a gel coat. We've been using tractor paint which is more than enough protection on the lakes we paddle. It would be plenty easy to sand down and replace with the gel coat color of your desire straight from Wenonah's website
(Click here for Wenonah gel coat information) We picked up this boat at the beginning of 2020 because it was big enough for our family on day trips, but also I could take it out solo if I paddled it backward. It's served us well on MANY day trips and picnics on the lake over the last three years in addition to a couple of trips to Voyageurs NP and the Boundary Waters. I have loved the performance of this canoe. Wenonah nailed the description on their website and in their catalog. This boat tracks as well as my Dad's 18' Wenonah Sundowner but has the agility of a 16-footer. It's stable enough to handle kids moving around and hanging over the sides to play in the water, but fast enough to hang with the expedition boats when out camping. The bow paddler did get a little wet when waves picked up on Kabetogama, but we never felt like we were going to tip over. I really love this boat and plan to get another Adirondack in the future, but we expanded our home fleet to include a Northstar Seliga and Bell Magic last summer and need to clear some garage space for the time being.
