Does anyone have information they can share with me about this canoe other than what is posted on the Wenonah "discontinued canoes" area (the info there is minimal, doesn't even touch on construction materials). I've searched the web broadly , but haven't found anything there, either. I'm looking at one and it's about 18'6" and 70-ish pounds. Thanks for any help you can give me!

Contact Brian Day at Wenonah. If any one can help he can.

I'm assuming you're asking about the Whitewater X?

As mentioned, Brian Day can give you some more detailed information about the Whitewater X. Nevertheless, I've posted some catalog pages about the Whitewater X from a 1982 catalog below.

At 70-pounds, I'd guess it's either a Tuf-weave Cross-Rib or the Tuf-weave Center-Rib layup. I own a 1988 Kevlar Cross-Rib Odyssey that's listed at 59-pounds.
