I'm shopping around for a canoe that will work well for BWCA trips, but also paddling around town (smaller lakes and maybe some calm rivers). I don't need top tier performance, but I don't want anything that will feel like too much of a struggle when covering some miles on longer trips.
I have an opportunity to grab a kevlar
17 Wenonah in pretty good shape. Does anyone know anything about this model? Given the generic name, it's difficult to Google. It looks like it's similar to the Northstar Northwind 17 in specs though, and I know that's a solid all-rounder.
I'd appreciate any thoughts/experiences you all have to share! Thanks!
