I've done the search and read many posts, but most are 5+ years old. Looking for a new canoe seats for the old Mad River Teton (bow and stern). The seat style is the flat webbing, so I'm referring to a seat that is strapped on for comfort. We've used the old plastic Coleman's (meh), flimsy original Crazy Creek (maybe they have improved???), and for the last 10+ years the Sitbacker style. Sitbacker's are OK but the medal posts end up sliding out the back and defeating the purpose. Any breakthrough's in this area I'm not aware of???
Look up Wenonah Super Seat- bench style, not bucket. Very tough, not a real high back so my pfd doesn't hit it, good lower back support. The actual seat cushion is not real "cushy", but also doesn't have you sticking up in air too high. I've had one in my solo for years and I'll throw it in the stern when I trip with my kids.
