Looking at getting a new way to haul gear in the BW. I have a couple OLD Boundary SealLine 70L bags. The straps SUCK, and there isn't a waist belt. I have done tons of looking and review reading but can't seem to come to a conclusion.

I want to make the portaging easier on myself and my partner (her first trip this year was great) except the crappy pack on long portages... I remembered what it felt like last year.. again

What are you using and why? What would you want if you don't like your current system?

If you stick with a dry pack I recommend the Seal line Pro series. They are much more comfortable and come with all the bells and whistles( hip belt, sternum strap, back padding, load lifters, etc. Much nicer than the Boundary or Black Canyon series. The other viable option is a standard CCS, Kondos (now Portage North), or Granite Gear pack with a water resistant liner. I prefer to have one Seal Line Pro Dry pack with all gear that needs to stay dry and everything else in standard Cordura packs like Kondos/Portage North Outfitter or CCS Hybrid Packs and a day pack. I have had poor luck with liners but many swear by them.
