I volunteer with a BSA program in central Indiana that teaches adults and youth safe canoeing skills so they can plan a wilderness canoe trip. We reference the BWCA a lot in the program. Our patch is from a BWCA pictograph of a moose smoking a pipe. My understanding its somewhere near Basswood River and Crooked Lake. I'm leading a group in the general area next summer and would love to find this Pictograph.

I believe it's the one on the left side of this photo.

These pictographs are on the rock wall in the photo below. It is about 1/2 mile north of Lower Basswood Falls as you're heading to Crooked Lake, on the west shoreline.

Also, they are just past this over-hanging rock.

Check out the map section on this forum for exact location. They are located just north of lower basswood falls (blue dots).

I went past this pictograph earlier this year. It is easy to find on the west side of the Basswood River north of Lower Basswood Falls. Most maps mark pictograph locations with a symbol. Look at your map legend.
