Planned on doing a solo and still may, but thought it might be a good idea to see if anyone else was in a similar spot. Would like to cover a moderate amount of ground with plenty of fishing and relaxing mixed in with the paddling and portaging. I'm in my early 50s, have been to the boundary waters 1 other time but have a lot of long backpacking trips under my belt. I have my own gear other than canoe, which I plan on getting from an outfitter, and I'm open to solo or tandem canoeing.
