Maybe I should have posted this to the Food and Recipe list.
Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with INSTANT (just add hot water) English breakfast tea. This would be EBT that is just like instant coffee, except it's tea. I'm considering bringing this up north next month, but I'm looking for some feedback from others.
What I want to avoid is instant tea that is actually a tea-flavored beverage, if that makes sense...I don't want something like apple cider packets. Those are a cider flavored beverage, but not actual apple cider IIRC. Considering the composition of tea (leaves), I don't even know if what I am looking for exists.

I did indeed rock down to Electric Avenue, but I did not take it higher. I regret that.

why bother? Tea bags are lightweight and easy to burn, loose tea even easier to dispose of, with a finum filter you have about the lightest weight caffeine delivery system possible with top quality tea leaves.
Nobody exists on purpose, nobody belongs anywhere, everybody’s going to die.

You can probably find freeze dried or spray dried tea powder but I don’t recommend it for flavor. Tea bags are decent option.
I make my camp tea “grandpa style”, good quality loose leaf tea leaves and very hot water in a cup. Leaves will mostly sink, remove or gently blow any stragglers out of the way, sip, keep adding hot water until the flavor runs out.

I am an avid tea drinker. I bring tea bags. Dropping a tea bag into a thermos or water bottle has to be the easiest thing in the world. The tea bag weight is nothing and it's easy to dispose of. Why mess with perfection? With all due respect, I'd be curious to hear why you'd want anything else?

Because, for some reason, I got it in my head that some kind of tea powder or similar would be easier than tea bags. I was channeling instant coffee through tea. Now that I'm thinking rationally, I'm going to bring teabags for sure.
Thanks everyone!

Had to check your profile for age-related issue, but you're pretty young. But judging from your profile picture, you may have something else going on, IMO.
