It’s on Dan Cooke’s FB page. Sorry, I have PTSD after the last time I posted a FB link…it hijacks the thread into the evils of social media or 50 posts bragging about how they never use FB, instead of focusing on remembering a canoe legend….but since you asked.

If someone wants me to RSVP on FB I’ll try to keep up on FB for ya.

I sure did want to attend, but unfortunately circumstances dictate otherwise. : (

I plan to attend.

I only met Dan a few times but always found the experience rewarding.

Regrettably I have to apologize that I will still be here in China until Aug 19. I will miss the memorial but please know I will be there in spirit. I’ll look to my friend Austin to be there in his canoe in my stead.

Sending love to the memory of a very special man.

I might try to make it out on my Paddleboard.

Perhaps throw an empty CCS pack on my back, or strap to the bow. :(

I am here in spirit today. Dan Cooke was a wonderful person whose advice and memory I will forever cherish.

I was right ahead of ya ForestDuff in the Brennan’s green canoe. We talked to ya about your set up.

Exceptional event celebrating an exceptional life. Thanks for organizing the memorial, Nathan.

Was there in spirit, and thanks to all who showed. Dan was an incredible man!

What a wonderful event, and what a great turnout! I really wish that we could have been there. You can't believe how many times during the day I thought of you all celebrating Dan's life the best way possible - in canoes.

There were almost 50 canoes on the water honoring the many communities that Dan Cooke was a part of. It was beautiful.

This was a fitting tribute and well attended! Dan would be proud
