Help! I am looking for a campground between Minneapolis and Kansas for Memorial Day weekend. We are tenters but need an electric site. I would like to camp close to water if possible. Looking to canoe on a lake or do a river trip during the day. I am in Minneapolis and my husband is in Topeka Kansas but will probably be somewhere else in Kansas Memorial Day weekend. I guess I'm looking for something around Omaha or a bit north of Omaha. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Iowa too?

There's another closer to Council Bluffs, but it sounds like it would be a zoo on Memorial Day weekend.

Good luck! There are a few really nice parks on the Minn/WI border, but it sounded like you wanted to be closer to Nebraska/Kansas?

Yes I would like to be closer to Kansas/Nebraska as I will probably take Friday off. I would like to be the one who has more driving and I'm driving from Minneapolis.
