Going in on Friday to do the Sioux Hustler. Three days. I should be pretty busy. I also found out last week that my employer will give me paid time off to do trail clearing, so I signed up for two trips this fall. It's my 60th year, so I gotta keep moving.

I'm sure that you're not out yet. Anxious to hear about your trip. You couldn't have hit better weather. Let me know if you want to join in on the spring portage clearing trip.

We got out yesterday. It was a great trip, if anything it was a little warm. What a stupid thing to complain about. The segment from Pageant to Agawato was one of the best sections I've ever been on. Very remote. We ran in to 2 other groups. One was just exiting and the other looked like college kids. Their group was 6. The MCC had a trail clearing crew out between the trailhead and Devils Cascade. They are doing a very thorough job. We didn't see any wildlife and saw a few signs of moose but the trip couldn't have been better.
I'd like to do a portage clearing. I follow the boards so I'll sign up when you start organizing the crew.
