These aren't much of a "fashion statement" but they sure help me when I'm tying knots etc.. $25 at Bass Pro.

I bet if you used those and pair of 3-D glasses you would get a real kick out of a 3-D movie.

Looks pretty handy.

I've been debating picking up a set of these for both my scuba mask as well as sunglasses. Have heard both that they're great and that they fall off easily.

I have a pair of these glasses and they are fine for fishing but be careful walking a rocky shoreline or portage as they make watching the ground ahead of you feet difficult. You should have a second pair for navigating those areas!

I order 1x and 1.5x lined bifocals style magnifier insert safety glasses through my work. I tried stronger and don't like it. The stronger the magnifier, the tougher to watch your footing. I'm 47 and really appreciate the magnifiers for knots and reading and slivers. I would likely just carry readers if the magnifiers weren't free.

Just make sure you take them off when you reach the portage. Glancing down through those really distorts your perception.

I have a similar pair I bought at Duluth Trading. Polarized, comfortable, and built in cheaters. They have changed fishing for me, since I used to have to take sunglasses off and put reading glasses on every time I needed to tie a knot.

P.S. Getting old sucks.

I added those to my snorkeling mask, and after I figured out how to look at different things, they worked great.
