A few friends and I are heading to Brule for walleyes, but I'm going to fly fish for small mouth and pike. Anybody know the area and hatch around the last weekend of May? I'm bringing my usual bass flies such as poppers, streamers, terrestrials etc. We are planning on going to the west end of the lake and base camp...i never been there before anybody know of a good place to fly fish? I also plan to to bring my waders...does brule have any good play to wade and fly fish?
