I just had a couple large prints made of some bwca photos, but I'll probably do more (my dad has a framing studio, so he's always asked for pics to frame).

Where do you get your pictures printed for framing? I'm looking at price and quality of course.

I use Miller's for my pro prints, large orders or custom work. Their daughter company, mpix.com does a really great job and the prices are very good IMO. Use them all the time.

Costco. You cannot beat their quality versus price if you take the time to download their printer profiles and soft-proof images in photoshop. I download their custom printer profiles from dry creek photo and convert to that profile in photoshop after soft-proofing. It's relatively easy and the images turn out exactly like they look like on my monitor.

You have to know a thing or two about color management to get spectacular results though. Otherwise, your results may be hit or miss.

El-Co color labs have great prices and I've been satisfied with a number of 20x30" prints they have done for me.

I use White House Custom Colour (WHCC)for 99% of my printing. They are well regarded and happen to be located in Eagan. So my turn around time is usually 36-48 hours from order to my front door by UPS. Their prices include UPS ground shipping...so factor that in when comparing.
