Does this still have portages and campsites on it?

I have V4 of lakemaster and it does not have the portages/campsites. According to Garmin's Website (select the view map tab, then click on the map to view details) V6 does not have portages either.

I created this overlay map for Garmin units. Depending on the GPSr that you have, you should be able to use Garmin's Mapsource and send the overlay map to your GPSr.

plquinn beat me to it. I just got off the phone with Steve at LakeMaster in Little Falls, and he had the explanation for why they are not included. He stated that Garmin doesn't like having other companies building their product, so -- unlike Lowrance and Humminbird -- LakeMaster simply licenses their data to Garmin and Garmin builds it to their background map (City Navigator). Garmin includes a lot of their own data but have simply chosen not to include BWCA campsites and portages. As was already stated, however, that data is available from from many sources and can easily be overlaid.

Does that overlay work with the oregon unit?

I have an overlay file also that works with the lakemaster. I can send it to you and see which one you like. Just an option.
