I have searched high and low for info about this river and all i can find is a vague map. Has anyone been there? put ins? take outs? water depth average? I have a nice book on paddling Wisconsin Rivers and cant seem to find anything for up there.

I've never paddled it but my son and some of his friends did about 15 years ago. It flows through the village of Steuben near the Big Island Lake Wilderness. I think it's in the book 'Canoeing Michigan Rivers' by Jerry Dennis and Craig Date.
