Talked to the boss at work today abou a day off on 4th of July weekend to do a 4 day solo (he thinks I'm crazy) he said we will be to busy, go Memorial weekend. No permits open friday. Told him this and he said go Thursday. I found a permit for #16 and took it. Now have to get ready in 2 weeks. The bwca fever is running high right now.

So, you'll have 5 days. Have you been in that area before?

Well may run into you in that neck of the woods. We are going in on Wednesday at EP 14 and plan coming out at 16. Just depends on how the fishing is going and how long we stay any one place.

Never been there, I have studied the area as it is also our exit point for our August group trip. No set plan yet, but want to get in far enough that bailing out early is less of an option. Don't think that will be a problem. Checking gear and lists now as I haven't been there in May before. KevinL, I'll be in a Magic Blackgold-reminds me to get my bwca.com stickers on.
