I've started planning a solo to Big Island Lake wilderness in the Upper Peninsula. Tentatively planning for the first week of October. I went last fall but due to the fact that I was starting a part time job at Gander Mountain I had to cut my trip short.
This year I'm planning a week long trip, give or take a couple days. It's just 7 weeks away.

Actually in Winchester, WI. Few hours west of there. Thought it was closer than that, but alas, Google has shed light on my ignorance.
