I am SO close to pulling the trigger on a WBBB and Superfly...the only thing holding me back is my wife; she would kill me. Then again, I've made bigger purchases in the past without consulting her, and only had to spend a night or two on the couch. I recall the first Harley Road King I brought home in 2001...

May want to send Branden an email and see if he has any seconds available. I was able to get both WBBB 1.7 DBL & Superfly for a little less money and I have one spot on the inside of the hammock about 2" long with a discoloration in the sil, and I can't even see it in the Superfly.

My wife will occassionally complain about what I spend on gear. But she spends $60 - $100 on her hair every month and a bunch on lunch everyday while I eat leftovers from the night before. So...
I've pretty much bought all the gear I need now anyway until it's time to replace things!

You say that like it's a bad thing.

Lucky me. I can buy anything I want, whenever I want. Only thing I have to do is ask the wife if its really what I want to do LOL
Some people see nature as being made "Just for them", and view others as an invasive species..... We are always hearing about how Social Security is going to run out of money. How come we never hear about Welfare running out of money? What’s interesting is the first group worked for their money .. the second group did not.” WTF???

Just what I needed...!"
Oh yessssssss, then you can start thinking under quilts, top quilts, and so on down the line. Just what a gear junkie needs! Top quilt is next on my list. I may add that I love my 20 deg Incubator under quilt.

Go on....take the plunge......Join the world of the best sleep you'll ever experience on a camping trip.
Surely your wife is concerned with your quality of sleep and wouldn't begrudge you a few dollars......LOL

LOL
I, too, can buy anything I want, whenever I want. Only thing I have to do is cover the alimony and child support payments.
Guess I am not quite as lucky as you.

BTW...I have my BB hung in the basement and have been sleeping down there during the heatwave.
P.S. It is only 86 here by Chicago now. A full 16 degrees cooler than it was at noon!

Get an early birthday and/or Christmas voucher. I've used this technique with much success. Plus, when your birthday does roll around she will want to get you something anyway. It's a win win.

I am going to get the hammock, it's just going to have to wait a bit as a couple of unexpected automobile maintenance issues have reared their ugly heads in the past couple of days.
