Well, I think they're cool :). I wanted to see them after viewing bear bait's photos of them from his trip report last year. Dan Cooke told me they were on a pond east of Horseshoe and I looked...and there they were.

It should also be noted (for those who might not know this), that they will only be "golden" in the fall of the year.

i had bearbait make me a print of his photo, framed it and gave it to my tripping partner cuz she loves tamaracks, and she's a good tripping partner,too.

Not something I see a lot of down here. I loved his photos of them and wanted to see them when I was up there in the fall.

Mocha - I'm sure it made a very nice print. I'd love to have one on my wall. I'll probably use that one as my desktop this year :).
