My new JRB Mt. Washington 4 zero degree winter underquilt arrived today! Now, I'm really looking forward to some winter hangs. Unfortunately, holiday stuff has my schedule tied up until after the holidays.

Here's a shout out to Jacks R' Better for great service. I ordered the UQ late Tuesday night and it arrived today (Friday). I've never experienced bad service from cottage manufacturers, and JRB continues the string.

That's good news! I have no idea how long I'm going to have to wait for my Hammock Gear 20 deg Burrow with two extra oz. Top quilt. Guess I'll be patient and it will come. Took three weeks to get my under quilt from them last spring but the wait was worth it.

KevinL -
I ordered the same TQ on the black friday/saturday deal.
Did you get regular or long?

I wasn;t sure about the size because I may use it for ground sleeping too so asked them to contact me to discuss before filling the order.
They haven't yet, so I'm assuming they are still working down the list. I can wait. Not planning any winter hangs this season.

IBFLY, I have two burrows. One is the standard width, regular length seen foot box. The second is a long, wide, snap foot box. For on the ground the wide wide burrow works better than the standard. The wide just has a bit more coverage when you are flat on your back. I don't think length would matte much, if it's long enough in the hammock it will be long enough on the ground. When you use a tq and UQ together you get a little overlap around your shoulders from the UQ, this is tough to achieve on the ground but a wider quilt fixes it.

I got the long, wide, and snaps for the same reason. I also got 2 oz of over stuff....don't know for sure why.

Yes it could be a wait till it makes it here, but I don't plan on any hangs unless it would get here real soon. I have next three weeks off and may head over to NE Iowa and do a little trout fishing.
