Ordered a superfly last night! I have been using a ccs 10x10 but would rather use that for a dining fly for the group so I went with the SF.
For those that own or have owned one, what do you do with the doors when you don't want them deployed? Any tips or tricks to keep them out of the way? Roll them up and fasten them somehow or use the tie outs and tie them back on the tarp it's self?
Is it time to paddle yet?
EDIT- does anyone seal the ridge line? Has anyone had a problem with the seam leaking?

Ok....what I did was to hang the tarp as I would any other time.
I then took some fine line that I use for my guy outs, and pulled the triangles(doors) back with the lines. I then put a loop on one end and the smallest sized Nite Ize clip on the other opposing loop.
After adjusting the tension so that the tarp was hanging without any stress, I just leave it. I now have a line from each door to tie it down with permanently attached, it does not get in the way during set up or when I'm not using the doors.
So basically, If your standing outside your hammock/tarp looking at it. You will see that the side is a solid rectangle of fabric with two inward pointing triangle shadows underneath.

I have some small diameter shock cord on one side that I have on the doors. Other side is CCS reflective cord. It makes it easy when staked down to still be able to get in.
I then put some mitten hooks on the ends that you can clip togeter when when not needed. I did not buy anything special, I just dug through the box in the closet and took a couple from an old pair.
They look just like these from zpacks.
Not a very good pictures for this but think you can get the idea. Not my idea, found it on Hammockforums.com.

All good tips eveyone. Thank you. I can't wait to get my hands on this tarp and start playing with different ways to rig it. I'm leaning towards getting some shock cord for the doors and tying the doors to each other inside that tarp along the side wall. Half the fun of hanging is modifying your set up right? Thanks again guys,
Dan
