I am not a big fan of message jars in the Quetico. I have never paid any atttention to them. However, I have seen a few of the and found them to be interesting.
I am going to take a week long solo at the very end of August. Not sure where for certain. Either Beaverhouse or Praire most likely. Given that I will be alone this trip I thought I would have some time to read some of what might be in the jars. But since I have never paid them any mind I do not know where most of them are. I know many of the lakes that have them but in a couple of cases have no clue whatsoever as to the location.
I know this is a private forum but it still may not be a good place to list the location of the various jars. I am wondering if there is a private way to gather that information. Any help/directions would be appreciated.

If you had a clearer idea of where you were going, ......there are jars on ..McIntyre, Suzanette, Ted, Delaney, Draper, and quite a few more.....We could e-mail you info....but in which area?....also you don't have your little envelope under your name...so you would have to give us your e-mail address.

You are certainly contradicting yourself and your post makes no sense to me. What are you saying? You're not a big fan of them and don't pay any attention to them.

But you want people to tell you where they are.

No offense but it sounds like it's best that you stay away from them.

I apologize. Perhaps I should have said I don't pay "much" attention to them. I think I must have keyed that one word incorrectly.

I will try to be less contradictory in future posts. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.
Thanks also for your opinion in regard to my staying away from message jars.

GraniteCliffs,
E-mail me your e-mail address and I'll send you some info on the area you are interested in.

I'm rather protective of the message jars. I keep waiting to get news that someone has removed or destroyed a message jar. Imagine if we found a message jar from a voyageur camp from the 1700's.

Many have been removed. Earl, Kashipiwi, Brent off the top of my head... so agree in being protective.

Tim-

Where were the Earl and Kahshahpiwi Jars located? (If I might be so bold as to ask?)
