Fresh food for the long haul

Great article on what fresh food will keep and for how long on a trip. Enjoy.

Thanks! Some good info in that article. We don't bring much fresh food with us but we do occasionally like a break from the freeze dried meals and this will help in choosing what may last for longer trips.

Thanks for the article. I use a lot of fresh food when I go. This last trip I made stuffed red peppers which turned out very well. I see there are items that I hadn't considered taking. I will have to try some of these others on my next trip.

It's that time of year, so I am going to bump this article too. I also listed it under "sides" in the recipe section.
