I sew lots of things and am looking for new ideas for holiday gifts.

Aside from the usual stuff sacks, roll and click bags, fleece pants, fire starters, barrel organizers and stake bags - Got any projects in the works?

If you can invent, I can sew. - So, what's up?

Off the top of my head...
Map cases
Pack liners
Insulated booties
Water bottle covers. I made mine from heavy canvas. They have a shock cord loop that holds them on the bottle and a side release buckle that clips to the receiving point mounted in the canoe.

Good ideas - keep them coming!

I have done hanging kitchen organizers and bags of all sizes.

I've started using a Polartec High Loft Blanket instead of a summer sleeping bag, because to me it's much more comfortable than a sleeping bag, yet packs down reasonably well, weighs nearly nothing. I've thought about sewing a snap-on outside super-light nylon cover for one side of the blanket only, because I think I'd get a much better r-value that way without adding much weight (nylon cover would make a dead air space on the outside of the high-loft blanket).
Or, you could just sew a Down, Climashield, or Primaloft quilt - or pot cozy out of those materials for something more modest.

How about sleeping pad covers. Polyester sheet on one side for summer time use and merino wool or polar fleece on other side for cold weather camping. Also fleece balaclavas or stocking hats. Storage bags for reflector ovens. Canoe paddle bags. Thwart bags.

Great ideas! Now if I could only read what they are saying! But the pictures are good! I am going to make the bottle holder that goes on a pack strap for stocking stuffers. bottle holder on pack strap

Another idea is a bag or case for a folding saw. That site has a lot of neat ideas. I love the TP holder bag.
