What has been your experience spending the night with your dog at an outfitters before/after a trip? Thinking about taking my 1-1/2 year old chocolate this summer for her first trip. I'm sure each outfitter is different, but just curious about experiences.

I went to William and Hall on Moose Lake last year and they were great about me staying in their bunkhouse with my dog. They just said she couldn't be on the bed.

Also CBO and Rockwood are good about dogs!

Forgot to mention Gunflint Lodge - at least in the cabins.

I've had my dog in the bunkhouse at Rockwood. They were very welcoming to me and the dog.

As long as the dog is reasonably well behaved and not barking I'm guessing most outfitters are fine with dogs.

We stayed at Voyageur North in Ely with our dog. They have a "dog room" so be sure to mention that you have a dog when reserving.
