1/2c powder per drink seems like it will be way to bulky for BWCA.

If you read the details, they added a lot of filler to make sure it wasn't that easy to sneak around. The original product would be perfect for the BWCA.

The alcohol is not powdered it is micro encapsulated into the filler. Bring a nalgene container of booze and powdered drink mix. You will have the same weight and more control of alcohol content in your drink. Palcohol is a gimmick.
