Going to solo hike the trail in September, I've never been in the BWCA this time of year, any advice?

Waders...? (Get an update from someone to see if the trail is actually passable.)

I would suggest you call the USf and speak to a ranger on the condition of this trail, for the last few years this trail has been very wet and i mean very wet

i hiked the trail last november. the boardwalk was above water at that time. i haven't been there this year though, many times the boardwalk can be under as much as a foot of water. i'd call the forest service to check on conditions. it's a great trail through a beautiful forest.

Going in tomorrow, my first time solo, wish me luck. I have heard the trail is mostly dry and in great shape, will try and do a trip report when I get back. Thanks for everybodys help
