I posted this in the general discussion forum, but thought it was a good idea to post it here as well.
Jim Cavenagh and I just returned from our first and long awaited canoe trip to Woodland Caribou Provincial Park. We found the Park to be rugged, wild and beautiful. The wind blew hard in our faces every day but one. Yet that one day was incredibly calm from sunrise to sunset. A tripper's dream for sure. Of the 10 day duration, we traveled 7 days with 3 layover days. Thankfully, we had had no problems and emerged safe and sound. I will definitely return, the Good Lord willing.
