Visiting out son right now and Idaho and thought I would mention that area. We won't make it there this year but have canoe camped there 3 times in the past. We go in at the SP in Lower Priest lake....paddle up the Thouroughfare and grab a site up in the northern reaches. Not a motorless area but the beauty of the place makes up for it. If you paddle up the river you may find a moose and there are some great old growth trees to look at.....

If you happen to be around Northern Idaho...this summer.... check out Upper Priest Lake. We canoe camped there 3 times in the past. Way pretty area and worth the visit
