I've been interested in building my own hunting and camping knives, but i just do not know where to begin. what should I start with? where should i start looking for supplies, what do I need? Ive watched videos and googled things. but I would really like someone to help point me in the right directions! Ive got several antlers to make handles, but where do i go from there? thanks

Are you going to be able to completely shape the blade from raw material and perform hardening and tempering steps yourself?
Or, do you need a finished blade that you can attach and shape your own handle design?
Are you focusing on stainless steel blades or simple carbon?
