We've been looking for a while at flying into Clay Lake Labor Day with the hope that, if the water level is low, we might be able to fly into Mack and avoid Greenwood Creek. Word is that the new Quetico superintendent will not allow it, even if the creek is dry. How bad a slog is it if the water level drops? Has anyone been through there recently? I hear the water levels have been fairly high so far.
