Them there lures must be new........I spent last evening walking the isles of Bass Pro shop just outside of Louisville KY and I know those would of at least caught my attention.

I am a sucker for lures I must admit. It does look like something I would like to try......especially on a private bass pond with lots of weeds and lily pads, sort of like what's in the video (lol).

I would be interested in how the lure skips. It might be quite the lure to fish docks or even skipping back into the mangroves. I will probably have to get one just to see if I can skip it back into the bushes. The hooks look good........

i will purchase this lure, it has some great applications..weight/size/castable-pause&go-buzz bait that floats...a 1oz lure you'll cover some water. top water plug/buzz video on the link.

Yup, looks good. Similar application in some respects as a top toad.......maybe a bit louder. Take a hard look at the hooks when you get it. Sometimes double hooks can have a narrow gap or are a bit thin.

Owner and gamakatsu have "frog" hooks in 3/0 and 5/0 sizes, super nice. I'm giving some strong consideration to replacing the hooks on some of my bigger deep diving cranks with owner frog hooks and banging bottom hard and fast......." Get out of my way, coming through"

I remember when Bill Dance blessed us with the Spit n' Image. I loved the Pumpkin-seed color and had a lot of confidence in that lure. I love the natural patterns. Seems like it ought to work, although, I never seem to have good hookup percentages on these type of lures. Maybe it's the hooks as mastertangler says

I checked this bad boy out the other day at Bass Pro and thought.........it's OK I guess. (I had some time to kill so went 3 different nights....I'm such a fishing nerd, it's awful) ............Big hard clunky middle section........hooks were OK, decent gap but nothing like what owner or gamakatsu offers but still decent.......I would probably take a file to it.

It may be one of those lures that performs better in the water.......after all your not trying to finesse anybody. Throw it out and crank it in.......catch me if you can!
