Our group has moved totally to hammocks. Two years ago we had 3 groups. . .15 guys.. .all but two in hammocks. We have Clarkes, Hennessy, Grand Trunk and a War bonnet. Everything is personal preference but our group gravitated to the Hennessy's over the others mentioned.
We use Explorer Deluxe hammocks, with the large hex rain flies, snakes skins, top covers (when very cold), and down underquilts (Incubator, Jacks R Better).
For rigging we have gone to Python Straps and Carbiners. We can get a hammock and rain fly both up and rigged in less then a minute with this system.
I have not had experience with customer service with the others, but when we had a tear with one of the Henessy's, they sent us a new one, and we put ours in the same box and sent it back. Can't ask for beter then that.
Seems like the crows is divided more along the lines of "cottage" hammock makers vs the big guys (Clark, Hennessy, Eno, Grand Trunk.)

Welcome Blatz to the world of hanging
Like unshavenman said there is a wealth of info out here, by hangers who have tried all different types of things to make their hammocks more comfortable & lightweight
And SHUG, well what can you say about SHUG, he has multiple youtubes, he is very knowable about hanging, and is funny
Just remember that all these experts on here, they can only give you their opinions, and it is up to you research what they are saying and try it out & see if you like
Have Fun in the Great Outdoors!!!

Blatz - Have you been able to hang for a few nights yet?
They climbing ring method you are looking at has a drawback.
Several folks have reported that, depending on what rope you use, that method can degrade the cord pretty quickly. I had pretty much the same set up as you when I first started hanging 4 yrs ago. I saw my rope get crushed by the climbing rings and did more research. That's when I found out I wasn't the only one.
I have since moved into a Warbonnet Blackbird with the straps and buckles. But that's just personal preference.
