....my purchase will include some Ranger. I will drink it out on the back deck after which I will light up a fine cigar and contemplate kanoes.

Seems as if every move this weekend was with thoughts of Jan in my mind. We were watching the grandkids during a long weekend, and it provided many a particularly sweet moment, often with Grandpa giving some outsized hugs for no particular reason.

Jan settled on Ranger, but an earlier favorite of his was at hand at the kids' house, so I raised that brew to the many memories I have of him. A simple meal and a toast to the hoppiness he shared with all of us.
