Basecamping on our next trip to the BWCA, so taking in a few luxuries such as:

and my thin Bible, which is about as thick as a 250 page novel, so its VERY easy to pack. So excited to sit out on a rock ledge, with moose feeding in the foreground, loons romanticizing, and reading something in the Bible.

Any books of the Bible your favorite to read while in the BWCA?

Psalms and Proverbs lend themselves to be read out in God's creation especially well, IMHO? So much of those books are as much like "Soul candy" as loon music is!

Slow read the Psalms.

I'm also a big proponent of reading books straight through and the Bwca makes for a great location to do that. I've read through exodus, Isaiah, Ezekiel, Mark, Luke-Acts, Revelation, and numerous epistles. Makes for a great few hours!

I like reading the book of John in the wilderness.

While it is hard to differentiate between which books I like best, I do enjoy Romans, and Ephesians. Just finished reading Job in my yearly plan and enjoyed it very much! Just imagine putting yourself in Job's position... what would you have done?
