Has anyone taken Little Indian Sioux SOUTH from the Echo Trail all the way to Cummings? I'm looking at going mid July and seeing if we can get through to Cummings. First night Bootleg Lake, 2nd night on Cummings. Any information on the area past Bootleg lake to Cummings would be appreciated. I couldn't find anything from searching previous messages and trip reports.
Thanks!

I've attempted to go to Cummings via LIS coming from Little Trout Lake during Labor Day weekend some years ago. LIS was very slow moving and we ended up deciding to re-route through Chad Creek down to Chad Lake. We were afraid we wouldn't have made it to Cummings before nightfall. Chad creek was moving even slow than LIS and it was probably a bad decision. We also had a 3 person canoe, so it was tough in those tight turns. You should be fine in July. I wish I had checked out google maps before the trip. It's much longer than it appeared on the map.
