Im planning a trip to the bwca for a couple weeks from now and was wondering where the past fires and blowdowns have been. I know of the Pagami area, but not the others. Im planning a week long trip with a few friends. If anyone has any loop suggestions, thatd be apprecited, too. We're all in our late twenties, so difficuly isnt a problem. Ive been up there a few times before, but its been about five years or so. Any ideas?

I wouldn't worry about avoid fire areas that are a few years old. I just spent several days in an older fire area and its actually pretty cool to see. You can get a whole new perspective on the forest and terrain and it makes wildlife easier to see.
Maybe avoid the worst of last years fire area but don't worry much about older areas.
Do you have any entry points you are currently looking at?

Voyageur Maps has the fire boundaries on their maps. (not Pagami yet that I know). There are rough boundaries for the blow down areas but they are hit and miss and you may not even notice them. I wouldn't worry about any of them except Pagami.

yup, you can see a long way when the trees are shoulder height
The burn on the end of Sag & Seagull are non issues now, I paddled them later in the year after the fire, it was not a pretty sight and campsites were horrid (there were a few that were somewhat spared)
let science, not politics decide, ... but whose science?
