Very nice outcropping, did see two snakes on campsite. Good spot to land and launch.

Camp Notes:
This is a large rocky outcropping with lots of 'living space'. Fire grate has east/south/west views. Pretty amazing. Excellent stargazing on the point. Further in along the site is another westerly facing 'living space'. Tent pads were tucked back into the woods. We had 2, 3P tents and 1, 2P tents - all close together. During the busy season you should expect to see traffic as this site is near a portage and EP. We did it in Oct and had it to ourselves.

This site on Pine was my favorite of the trip. Beautiful views West, North and East on the peninsula. Can approach from 3 directions to land canoe. Best on the West side of peninsula. I see the other picks are of the peninsula and view so I added the tent area in the woods. This is only a view of where we set up. Probably another 2 Tent sites in the area. If you are a hammock person, the selections are endless. Really great site.

Nice flat tent sites back in woods sheltered from wind. Huge, rocky point with great views of lake.

A really nice spot. There are trails to explore running in both directions from camp. (nice if you're windbound as I was) Great veiw of the lake, but lots of traffic going by, being so close to the portages.
