Camp Notes:
This was the best site we stayed at this year. The surrounding water is weedy and shallow and we did not have much luck finishing. The large rock near the fire grate was great as a back rest and hanging a tarp off of it makes a nice little relaxation area. There are a ton of tent pads. The path to the latrine runs the length of the island.

Nice site with a very nice fire grate area. The log by the grate is against a huge rock that works as a back rest and wind block. Room for several tents in either an open area or among the trees. A large flat rock area you can lay on for star gazing. Site does show the signs of a windstorm but still very nice. Photo shows the fire grate area.

Photo shows tents at this site. Both tents are far enough away from the trees that are leaning to not be a concern.

Really nice site. Lots of space for multiple tents. Great trees for hanging a large tarp. Cool fire grate area. Pretty open and it allows for the wind to keep the bugs away.

Camp Notes:
Paddled in with three adults, two seniors, and three children ages 8-14. We didn't want to go too far and this campsite was just clearing out. Plenty of space for our three tents (6 person, 4 person, and 3 person tents) and it was nice to have an island to ourselves. The walk to the toilet is a bit of a hike but the fire pit is nice and shaded. Being on a point with a bit of a breeze was a selling point for us as it kept the mosquitoes and flies down. Excellent views. Minimal fishing and loons on this lake; the water is fairly brown so we went over to Granite Lake each day to get water - it's accessible via a short, easy portage (hence only 4 stars). Eagles, turtles, mallards, and a beaver were all spotted from the campsite.

Really cool site - lots of tent pads, lots of spots to swim or fish from. awesome huge rock to climb on or use as a wind block. site can be windy, but there are many tent pads that are blocked by trees. beware the flying ants infesting the firegrate area!

This camps site is on a nice point of an island. It does get a bit windswept as it is on a unprotected point. Ok views of sunset. Good landing areas. It has a large rock next to the fire pit which is pretty cool.
