So, I figure when there aren’t big level places for tents, you’re looking at where to fit 2-person tents. For that reason, I think you wouldn’t have a problem fitting 4 small tents here. Great site with good view of the lake. Excellent bear bag tree over the canoe landing. Nice firepit area.

Previous pic from 2018 is accurate to 2023. Large white pine fell on the fire grate over the 2023 winter, but it gave us a sitting log and two full days of firewood with quite a bit left over. This site feels private and is relatively protected from wind. Very nice for a small party, which ours was.

Excellent site overall with the exception of no really level tent pads. Most of the site is a gradual slope and gentle enough that tent pads aren't a huge problem. View was great. Fire grate area was excellent. Lot's of room. Latrine was close and down an easy path but back in the brush. There are two landings and multiple storage areas for canoes. The landing to the east is is actually the better of the two. Heavily used moose trail just to the east also. Plenty of firewood across the lake to the east in the burned area. Not a high traffic area. About 3-4 hours from EP 47; 3 short and 1 medium difficult portages to get here. I would stay here again.

Pretty good site - lots of room for smaller group - slightly slopes for tent pads - protected from the lake - slope from landing is steep, but easier landing east of site - nice fire area and swimming area.

Stayed here two nights, enjoyed the site very much. Two good landings, the one to the east is the better of the two. Good kitchen area. Decent area for a tarp. Good site for "hangers" There is a gradual slope to much of the site. When we were here in Sept. the entire site had a nice soft layer of pine needles.

Didn't see this site personally. We stopped by it and a friend ran up to the site to scout it out. All he said was 'no, no, no'. Very rooty and small. He said maybe one tent spot and it'll be on top of roots. There's a big tree right in camp.
