Nice large site. The kids loved this one! Nice tent areas. The kids chased frogs all afternoon.

Camp Notes:
Campsite was in good order. Fishing wasn't good at the site, didn't get anything with leeches and a bobber. Tried all times of day. Walleys were just spawning when we were there. Bear Came into campsite 701 (this one) and the western site 700 a few nights in a row and even took full food packs that were hanging. We found our food packs later next to other trophies from previous campers so this is obviously a well trained bear. It came mostly in morning and night even with full campsite and music blaring.

latrine is full, damage by previous group to logs/fire pit. One night and moved to the west location on the hill, much better (that one is 4 to 5 stars) I sometimes can't stand people

Huge flat site with numerous tent pads. Adjacent site to the west can be found via trail. Great trees for hammocks close to the lake. Firegrate is also close to the lake. Fishing was difficult from shore.

Camp Notes:
Very nice site. Great trees for hanging tarp near the fire; Great tree down the path to the east for hanging food. Was concerned that there would be a lot of traffic through the lake, but it was very quiet. Had the lake to ourselves the first night, sharing it only with the many loons. We had a hard time choosing between this site and the one to the west -- both are very nice sites, but the wind was blowing hard out of the east, so this site offered better shelter. This site is down closer to the water level, while the other site sits up higher on rocky ground. You'll likely be happy with either of these two sites. The site farther east on the lake doesn't look great.

Great campsite we used as a base camp to fish Canoe, Paddle, Crystal, and day trip to the falls. Caught smallmouth right from the campsite as well as around the lake, and a nice pike and walleye. Great tent pads under the pines. Pretty good landing area. Nice campfire area with good log seating. short walk up a hill to the throne.

Decent canoe landing. Great firegrate area with some good log seating. (one with back rest) Several large, flat, pine duff covered tent pads. Latrine not too far away but, still private. Likely there will be alot of traffic passing by on most days.

A very nice site, much better than it looks from the water. Very nice fire grate area. At least three good tent pads and I'm sure there is room for another tent. Good trees for tarp and food pack hanging. Latrine is up the hill, but not too far, and not visible from camp. We were there in high water and the canoe landing was a bit tricky for solos, but not bad. I'm sure the canoe landing is good in normal water levels. A nice site. I'd stay there again.
