Camp Notes:
There are a few places and times in my life that are legendary in my recollection, and camping at this site, for several nights, is one of them. I so vividly remember the view, that other reviewers have posted pictures of, that it is uncanny. The lake is just rustic enough, and off the route of many of the loops and major routes, that it gets 75% less traffic than just to the West or areas to the East. It is small enough to have almost a gentle breeze, even if the surrounding lakes have gale winds, and the overlook view from camp, and the excellant sunsets, upon the peaceful cedars the predominated the shore, and epic walleye fishing on the easy to paddle, yet just so gorgeous gentle bays and narrows and islands, and I almost long for nothing more than to return to this spot and do nothing but ponder the beauty of existence and life for days on end.

We didn't stay here but did stop for a shore lunch of walleyes on one of the days we traveled over from Fraser to fish walleyes. A little bit of a climb up to the site but nothing that is terrible. Awesome view of the lake. Would love to stay here if we got the chance and ever came back to Sagus.

Camp Notes:
5/23/2019 Very tight canoe landing in a nice grove of cedar trees which makes bringing canoe up for storage difficult as well. Tough climb up to elevated fire grate area. Very nice pine duffed main camping area. Site is elevated but, view of lake will soon be compromised by growing trees. Firewood fairly tough to come by near camp.

Great secluded campsite. A bear walked into our campsite at night but never bothered us or our bear bag.

Tricky landing, then an uphill into the camp. The view is amazing from the campsite and there are some nice tent pads. The view is worth the inconvenience of the landing. Great site.
