Great campsite and beach for a trip with small kids. One of the nicest campsite beaches in BWCA. So big we put our tent on the beach. Made for comfortable sleeping. Not a lot of nearby canoe traffic as you are off the main paddle route.

Very spacious campsite. Several nice tent sites. Nice eating area and beach to play in. Plenty of reflecting points connected to little trails. Mosquitoes can be bad at night.

Excellent site! Tent pad is one huge, soft, sandy area covered by trees. You could easily set up multiple of those 6-person king size tents here without an issue of space. The beach is the real selling point. You paddle into a sheltered little cove that is all sandy bottom. Great site to basecamp out off.

Great site. Protected little cove with a nice sandy beach. Easy canoe landing. Pulled in sideways and stepped onto the beach and never got my feet wet. Plenty of space to store canoes. Firewood available if you venture away from camp. Trails to explore area. Good view of Sea Gull from top of granite peak. Caught a 19" Smallmouth and 22" Walleye off the stone point. Mosquitos were bad all day and worse at dusk. We had a Nemo Bugout which provided a safe refuge. Lots of Bluebead Lilies and Pink Lady Slippers blooming in the area during our stay. Would stay definitely stay again.

Terrific beach for landing/launching canoe and swimming. Lots of places for kids to explore. Plenty of trees to hang tarps or hammocks. We encountered a heavy storm and were glad to have a large tarp to provide some extra shelter over the firepit/kitchen area. I would definitely stay at this campsite again.

This is a great site. Sandy beach with a sandy cove. In the summer this should be great for swimming! You can hike to two peaks at this site for amazing views of Sea Gull Lake. We decided to put two 3 man tents on the beach but you could have 3 spots for tents in the site. We just didn't like that they were so close to each other. Lots of options for hammocks (we had 5 of them up). Lots of down cedars for firewood on Mile Island. Fishing was not good but it sounds like Sea Gull isn't the best anyways. We caught 1 HUGE small mount off of the point of the cove on a live worm slip bobber rig. No views of sunrises or sunsets (we were here at the end of Sept)

This is a great campsite. There is a great sandy beach with a protected cove. Water was warmer in cove and would be perfect for anyone with kids that want to swim as it stays shallow and has a slow slope. Made for easiest landing of canoes I have ever seen. There is sand everywhere here so if you hate sand avoid this site. Lots of firewood from downed trees as you walk in the paths to the point. Tent pads were level and you could find places to put at least 3 good size tents. Good trees for hanging and shade. The toilet is isolated but has a very easy walk and actually has a nice little view. Fishing is decent from the point. You can also follow path to top of hill and there is a great look-out rock where you can see the whole area.
