Nice campsite on an island, good views from all parts of the island, tents pads were good.

Great site. The tent pads are actually up a trail further into the island from the fire grate area. They are super flat and you can easily get four 3-man tents if you are in a larger group.

A fantastic, if well used site. This island boasts at least 4 rocky porch areas, if not more. It is criss-crossed by trails, making for lots of exploration potential. Tent pads are generally good. The fire grate area is elevated above the water. The canoe landing if good but a little tight. Good fishing close by.

VERY nice site to base camp at. This my first trip to the boundary waters. I'm 13. My father had been going all his life. We got to Ogish and this site was taken. We then took it after the group left. There was amazing fishing! Can be slick if raining though.

Nice island site with great views. Good tent pads. Path goes to other side of the island to a beautiful lookout of Ogish

This was a nice island site. But had a extreme lack of fire wood even for a island site. The tent pad was great and fit our 6 man tent. The fire pit is located on a huge rock with a great view. The local red squirrels can be a pest. Don't forget to check out Mueller falls right across from this site.

Great site with lots of tent pads and nice trail up to the high point on the island for a great view of the sunsets. Stayed here 3 nights!...

The latreen is on the opposite side of the island from the first pit, and it is down a fairly steep, potentially slippery trail. Be careful, but it should not be a detractor. There is a lot of wind on the water outside of the site, but none of it really hits the site itself.

It's a nice island site, with a decent landing. It also gets some traffic from bears crossing the lake from north to south, as it is across from a pair of peninsulas on either side of the lake. Fishing from shore, there's decent smallmouth bass and northern pike to be had. Some of the smaller islands nearby have deeper water next to them and are a good place to find walleye. The latrine is at a very low spot on the island and was getting close to filled in 2007.

Good canoe landing. Elevated site with a ramp up to a nice firegrate area. Several nice flat tent pads. Trails running all over the island affording great views in any direction. Trail to the latrine can be a bit tricky (slippery) when wet.
