Camp Notes:
Gorgeous view of lake in three directions. Some trees to block wind. A few nice tent and hammock spots. Short hike up to island high point offers stunning view of Brule. Bugs aren’t bad in August. Fishing only ok. You’ll see/hear other campers and canoers in this spot, but the view and site are still good.

Camp Notes:
Campsite appears to have canoe landings on both sites and is flat. Good site for tents or Hammocks. Path to the 2nd campsite on the island but this campsite looks heavily used and campsites can be hard to come by.

There are actually 2 sites on this island. The west point site is wide open, with a perfect little rock outcropping on the point to enjoy the sunset. Plenty of breeze to keep the mosquitos down. The north/eastern site is an average site, with a great landing.

to many people have cut down to many trees on this site at the west end of the island. its a wide open site with wood chips, bark and twigs all over the place. there are a number of level tent pads, and one or two have some cover. island bonus = no bears

Nice if you want to camp on an island. Big enough to support a larger group. Not good fishing, not good views. Campsite does not have good views of the lake. Probably would not stay here again unless I had to.
