Great campsite if you have a larger group, nice logs to sit on around he fire and more than enough room for 6-7 tents and good trees for hammocks. Didn’t have any luck fishing from the site itself but there’s a good drop off from the shore. Also seems to be a big pet snapping turtle that followed us around the site we named Donatello!

Great site! There are a couple spots to land the canoes, watch out for some rocks, but plenty of space to bring the canoe up. The view is great - lots of space and open. I probably wouldn't want to stay there if it was windy as there's not a lot of tree protection. It made for great swimming, rock jumping and sunset viewing, though! It looks like the fire ring has moved since the last photo posted. It was in a nice spot that was somewhat sheltered, and had 3 benches. A ton of firewood. The toilet is a bit of a hike up the hill, but secluded. There is a big open space for tents, but lots of rocks to fit the tents around. Also found a few hammock spots.

Our first few hours here we did not think the site was all that great but grabbed it because the waves on Disappointment were getting pretty significant. There is a protected "garage" to land your canoe on the northeast part of the site with a large enough open rock there to store the canoe on dry ground once you land. The fire grate is nice with ample seating. The site has a wide open view of the lake which provides for a sweeping vista but at the same time the open aspect means that if the prevailing westerly/southwesterly winds are blowing you will have to put up with them hitting you pretty hard since there is nothing to impede them. The rocks at the front of the site provide a good space for drying gear or, as we did, viewing the sunset, stargazing or viewing of spectacular Northern Lights. Tent pads are pretty close to the fire grate so you will want to consider which way the breeze is going to blow the campfire smoke before pitching the tent. The latrine is a moderate hike uphill from the fire grate/tent pad area and appeared to be in good shape. The rocks out front also provided good spots (with backrests!) to relax in the sun or catch a quick nap. The strong cool breeze when we arrived prevented much fishing or any swimming but once the wind died down, our evening at this site was quite pleasant.

Stopped and had dinner here on our 2nd to last day of trip. Didnt find the canoe landing very friendly to the more puncture prone kevlar of the canoe. Very shallow and rocky. Nice fire pit and sitting area. Nice large boulders and nice view of sunset during our 5 star dinner. Looked very limited for tent space. Heard lots of bear reports decided not to stay

Nice fire grate and open space. Tent pads behind fire grate would hold two tents and maybe room somewhere for a solo or small 2 person tent elsewhere. A rather habituated bear went through our campsite and got to our food pack at about 6:10 the following morning--only there one night. Place was not well cleaned when we arrived--looks heavily used.

Great Site. someone has set up 3 nice logs to sit on around the fire. Very nice landing for canoes can fit at least two wide and have room to walk around them. Only about 1 foot deep. Nice Ledge to jump from (warning You must jump out about 5 feet as to not hit a shelf in the water thats only about 2 feet deep). Nice Shelf to stand on and enjoy the cool water. a few good spot to set up tent and also tarp. All around great site compared to what we saw on other sites on disappointment.
